Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work for payments made to The Derm Edit, including online payments made through our payment partner (Razorpay).

1. Appointments and consultations

• To cancel or reschedule, contact us on +91 63790 02559 (call or WhatsApp) or email contact@thedermedit.in.
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment are eligible for a full refund of any consultation fee paid online, or a free reschedule — whichever you prefer.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be offered a reschedule at the clinic's discretion.
• If we have to cancel or cannot conduct your consultation for any reason, you receive a full refund or a priority reschedule — your choice.

2. Tele-dermatology consultations

• If a video consultation cannot take place due to a technical issue at our end, we will reschedule it or refund the fee in full.
• If you miss a scheduled video consultation, contact us and we will do our best to reschedule you.

3. Treatment sessions, packages and plans

• A treatment session that has been availed is considered delivered and is non-refundable.
• For multi-session packages and plans, unused sessions may be cancelled; the refund is calculated after accounting for sessions already availed at their standard individual rates and any applicable discounts already given.
• Package and plan validity, and any specific terms discussed at the time of purchase, are stated on your invoice or plan document.

4. How refunds are processed

• Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of approval. Depending on your bank, it may take a few additional days for the amount to reflect in your account.
• Refunds for payments made at the clinic are handled at the clinic against your receipt.

5. Medical suitability

If, after consultation, our dermatologist finds that a treatment you have paid for is not suitable for you, the amount paid for that treatment is refunded in full or adjusted against an alternative treatment you choose.
